- Now, Chelsea and Kwame have given a subtle update on their relationship status.
It seems like Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah have seen the recent rumor mill that’s taken over the Love Is Blind fandom, because the season 4 cast members just gave a subtle update on their relationship status.
On April 29, Chelsea weighed in on the speculation that they had split with a selfie of her and Kwame on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Sitting in what once was a pile of dirt & wood chips.” Kwame doubled down, resharing the post to his account.
Chelsea also posted another pic of her strolling down the street, where Kwame was seen walking ahead of her. (And before you get any ideas: That’s their dog riding in the stroller he’s pushing, not a human baby.)
After forming a connection in the pods and tying the knot when their season was filmed in 2022, fans speculated that the pair may have called it quits because of a social media post from Chelsea a few weeks ago. Her wedding ring was noticeably absent in one of the photos featured in her Instagram carousel, which she shared on April 18.
On top of that, Love Is Blind fans on Reddit claimed that Chelsea may have dropped Kwame’s last name, as she changed her profile display name on Instagram.
“I would say removing his last name is def sus but her latest story is cheering him on in a sports broadcast so probably still together,” one person wrote, while another added, “My friend changed her name on socials when she got married and then never ended up changing it irl and eventually one day just switched it back on socials. No issue in her marriage.”
As for the missing ring, another user wrote, “I barely wear my ring lol but also I totally get eyeballing someone with a platform.”
Though details regarding a name change haven’t been confirmed or denied by the couple, it seems like they’re still going strong—especially since they appeared during the Love Is Blind season 10 reunion special as one of the beloved reality series’s few success stories.
